Wolves are making one final push to try to land Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Wolves have agreed a £16million fee with Manchester City for Ukrainian utility man Zinchenko – who can play at left wing back or central midfield.
But Zinchenko, 21, has been reluctant to move despite being left out of City’s squad for the Community Shield win over Chelsea at the weekend.
The deal was off earlier this morning but Mirror Football understands Molineux officials are making one final attempt to get their man.
The promoted club are also set to announce a £12m swoop for Leander Dendoncker from Anderlecht.
The midfielder, 23, played for Belgium against England in the group stage at the World Cup.
Dendoncker joined Anderlecht as a youth player in 2009 and has made 171 appearances for the club, scoring 11 times and providing four assists.
He has played six times for Belgium since his international debut in 2015 and will add competition in the middle of the park for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
