England are through to the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Russia after finally breaking their penalty shootout curse against Colombia, winning 4-3 on spot kicks after conceding a heartbreaking equaliser in stoppage time.
The Three Lions now find themselves just three wins away from their first World Cup title for 52 years, but first they come up against Sweden, who were worthy 1-0 winners in their clash with Switzerland in the last round.
The winners will face either Russia or Croatia in the semi-final, on what is a wide-open side of the draw after shock exits from the likes of Spain and Germany.
